Allectus, Romano-British Emperor, 293-296. Antoninianus (Bronze, 21 mm, 5.94 g, 7 h), Camulodunum, 293-294. IMP C ALLECTVS P F AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Allectus to right. Rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG / S - P / C Providentia standing front, head to left, holding globe in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. Burnett 168. Cohen 51. RIC 108. Well centered and with an attractive brown patina. Minor deposits on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
